Honestly, I think it lost its appeal after the first season maybe. Its pretty much the same thing over and over.

'Opening Theme and Title of Episode'

'Ash and co stuck in some place, usually lost in some god-forsaken wood'

'Find people'

'Team Rocket/other bad guys/natural disaster/gym battle happens'

'All seems hopeless'

'Crisis resolved through various natural elements, usually lightening and/or water'

'Go home, have ice cream'


I'm not bagging the show, but the new seasons are kinda... Not good. Like most shows, you can tell whats gonna happen as soon as the episode starts.
